Our decision to found Knowledge Palette, Inc. was driven by the desire to create a world in which illness can no longer wipe the smiles from the faces of those we love.
By expanding our business, we would like to put smiles on more faces around the world and transform the image associated with healthcare into one of hope. We take a serious and sometimes out-of-the-box approach in our endeavors to achieve this dream of a brighter, happier world.
Knowledge Palette is a Japanese biotech startup conducting phenotypic drug discovery (PDD) and cell manufacturing optimization by analyzing whole gene expression profiles of cells treated with new drug candidates or culture media based on our single-cell and large-scale transcriptome technology with the world’s best accuracy.
In today's drug discovery industry, the difficulty and cost of new drug development is continually rising, as few drug target substances for small molecule drugs remain in the human body. On the other hand, cell medicine and regenerative medicine are expected to fulfil unmet medical needs as new medical treatments, but there is a problem in quality control as they are composed of living cells and it is difficult for existing technology to analyze and control the compositions accurately.
We collaborate with pharmaceutical companies and research institutes to solve the issues above by applying our platforms of whole transcriptome-based PDD and cell manufacturing optimization.
